Yes thanks you for reminding me of the Charles E Holman Foundation. I am disappointed that MRF is closing but delighted that you are dedicated to getting us some reals answers about Morgellons. I have suffered with it since 2001. I feel much better knowing we still have a dedicated, tireless group of people working to find answers. We need you and hopefully more funding for research will uncover the truth about Morgellons. Thanks for clarifying this.

Mrgiticia (Ayla) and Lynn-great ideas, thanks Gina for referring me to this thread regarding advocacy and foundations, awareness building . Ruth I would like to contact Michael Moore as well. This sounds like the kind of thing he would have a field day with. Stricker is another voice who has been very vocal about the truth of Morgellons as has Marc Neumann, my spelling not so good. Have Foia requests been made to Kaiser,DOD and CDC regarding the study and any revisions made in the study while it was sitting accumulating dust?

As i recall many of the parents against immunizations are being called delusional too-such a disservice, terrible.

Do you think there is anything that can be done in terms of starting a new foundation? What would need to be done to make that feasable? I really think its a mistake to have no place to go for advocacy and fund raising. I know people are battle weary and that traditional channels may appear to be hopeless, however I don't think thats the case. Just wondering what others think?

So does anyone know if they have given up or whats the story with MRF. Does this mean they are no longer with our cause?

Elizabeth, I notice that my acrylic paints make the itching and biting worse-i love to paint and don't want to give it up but i think your right about people needing to stay away from that stuff

freaky and itchen i love you both and am glad we have this place to come to where we can be ourselves as well as give and get support, information and understanding about morgs. Its been a tough week. think maybe its the stars but most everyone i know is going through some emotional turbulence (and thats without that hairbrained study).

So for 21/2 years we've been waiting for answers and CDC has been biding their time for the most strategic time to release this stinker! what a waste of scarce resources. It seems we live in the dark ages. Good point Toni about how they target middle aged women with the all in your head thing. They are hoping with this crummy study they have silenced us! Funny Elizabeth about getting their piece of this.

Great Cliff, really looking forward to hear what you and jan have to say about this study! One small thing you might want to editi is this- michele pearson, the doc that headed up this study is a woman. Thanks for speaking out, you are most appreciated and needed. I think we all need to be heard. No one is too small to be heard. All our voices are needed. This is just not right.

Bananny , to think that your heartfelt, polite, sincere statement was purged like that is nauseating. What kind of peer review accepts only ideas and information that supports their monied interests? They just want to press the mute button in the hopes they will never hear from us again

Toni, I noticed thats an older article-one wonders what they are finding in the current research on agro and its effect on the human genome. Great info Harry. I still don't understand how they can take a tissue sample from my scalp and not see the gels and the moving fibers visible to the naked eye. Please bear with me, cotton does not move. How is this phenomena difficult to see w/ the naked eye. I would think that there is a way to ascertain why our hair behaves differently from other subjects. Sorry for rambling Harry-just wonder if you have any thoughts?

Elizabeth, I enjoy painting w/acrylics and m sometimes careless and get the paint on my hands. When that happens I sense its getting pulled into my skin and that it migrates and contributes to the biofilm problems on my skin. In my case i don't think it caused it but does make it worse. I can only imagine how it interacts when injected.

I see, so what we really need to have researchers look at is changes in our DNA which would determine whether changes are occurring. It sounds like agro can interchange DNA sequences w/ both plant and animal species, right? Why didn't they at least entertain the idea?

Bananny I agree it is a kick to the gut-but there is no way that this study has provided us with any answers. I will keep searching.

aware thanks for bringing all the information in very promptly, it really helps and itchin -good 2cu. I am reminding myself to not be dispirited by their findings or lack of findings. It certainly wasn't what I was hoping for and yet its not unexpected. we who are living with this malady know the truth of it. Blessings
