Gosh sometimes I feel like I cant even do morgellons right! It makes me nervous when my body does the opposite of common symptoms. I lost 40 lbs in 3 months at onset and still am waaay underweight. I was solid muscle too--(was a dancer and choreographer). I had to give up the only career Im qualified for. No matter how much I tried, I simply lost my strength (and also was fainting- some days just standing up made me black out. It used to make me furious when people would say that they wished it would happen to them. I know they were just joking but they didnt stop to think that not only did I feel awful and scared, I lost more than weight, I lost my whole sense of identity. I did have my ankles swell a couple times but it didnt last long. Crazy thing is in spite of losing all that weight (much of it muscle) my hair and nails thrived. Or so I thought...

I'll try to do better.

It was actually much more positive than I thought it would be. I got the impression that she was overwhelmed and I give her kudos for at least being brave enough to go on the show. Considering that I called a dept store and asked if they had a size 5 blueberry (color of shoe I wanted) I wouldn't trust myself to be public about it. I would probably sound incoherent and well...delusional!! Even when playing devils advocate I thought Dr Stork was respectful and open-minded but even more important was the unspoken message he sent by ending segment with announcement that Dr Harvey would see her. In doing so he was acknowledging it as a physical not mental disease. Subconsciencely most people that never heard of it before will now relate to it as a "real" disease. Even if the show did it to look good ie: suffering victim with mysterious disease and unable to find help and they get to be the heroes with a "happy ending". Just my two-cents

Do not judge according to appearance but judge with righteous judgement. John 7: 24 I'm far from naive. I know people do bad and stupid things. And they will be judged. As will I. And when I am I dont want to try to justify why I judged someone based on speculation. Just saying...

Thank you so much for the good news. The timing couldnt be better as I am in day 3 of a herx. And this is positive news. My initial reaction was lukewarm but then I thought of how many brave sufferers died without seeing the fruits of their labor. This would mean so much to them so I choose to put aside my cynicism and frustration and be proud of and for the thousands of sufferers who earned this acknowlegement. Any acceptance is progress.

Rhorn you are so right. The part I dont get is how did the chemists think they could keep themselves safe from any risks. At work sure but Round Up was used everywhere. And how did they think they could explain it when the public became aware of risks? Honestly if we knew everything we're exposed to we would dress like an astronaut and live in a sterile bubble. How did the chemists think they could keep themselves safe from any risks? The Monsanto corporation has deep pockets for crooked government officials to dig in,, get there share and look the other way.. They also try to make it hard on anyone attempting to expose anything, because it threatens to end there "under-the-table" income,, but if they mess up and dont head it off before it gets out, they back out of them deep pockets "really fast" before someone catches them in there!!! Yeah I get that part. What doesnt make sense to me is they knew the risks and knew it would be used in public places. And as Bessie said, are still peddling the poison. Were/are they not concerned about their own families? School playgrounds, parks, camps, golf courses and even neighbors yards? And speaking of neighbors, if your neighbor worked for a co that sold the most popular weed killer-- that was promoted as perfectly safe, yet didnt use it on his own yard wouldnt that strike you as a bit odd? They had to know they couldnt avoid exposure, right? Sure theyre greedy but as Ctbarb said, not stupid, so they certainly know that a big bank acct isnt gonna make them immune to it. I just dont get it.

Kiki, Monsanto's molecular chemists are not stupid people...they knew EXACTLY what they were doing IMO! They had to have known that the chemical properties and combinations thereof, would cause such a reaction. That was the whole purpose of finding an "inert" ingredient in the first place! Used alone it didn't have the properties to do harm. BUT, used in combination to cause chemical properties to change and become toxic IS! That's basic chemistry. I just bet (IMO) they spent more time on finding an "inert" ingredient to change the chemical properties than they did on labeling the Roundup product! Like I said before, they cannot claim stupidity...they are the first to tell you how intelligent they are and how woefully inadequate everyone else is! Pride cometh before a fall...rings true? What also bothers me in all of this, is the fact that no one was a watch dog on this project. There had to be chemists that looked at the ingredients, are they all so stupid as to not see the combinations of ingredients and check the property capabilities of each and in combination? Something smells, and smells bad! What I also am very concerned about is whether Roundup Ready used in the GMO seeds has this same "inert" ingredient combination? Will have to check on that one. I just bet it does! Hugs, ctbarb DUH... was lookin at the tree-- missed the forest! Shoulda had a V-8

Youre safe unless of course you talk to you in French and you hear you in German. I just made my self brain dizzy. But its ok. I was born that way. But I wasnt.
